Pursuant to article 1 of the National Ordinance of 19 October 1948 regarding notarial fees and disbursements (P.B. 1948 no. 117) notarial fees for notarial services are periodically set by the Joint Court of Justice of Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Maarten and of Bonaire, Saint Eustatius and Saba. Most recently by order dated 14 August 2013. All notarial fees are subject to a mandatory 8,5% surcharge and 6% sales tax.
